第二章 弁護士道徳（弁護士の伝統と使命） 第八条 自由を愛し、基本的人権を擁護し、社会正義を実現することに努めるのは、弁護士の名誉ある伝統である。われらは、この伝統を誇りとし、これを使命として、その基盤の上に世界の平和と人類の幸福に貢献しなければならない。 第九条 会員は、弁護士の伝統と使命にかんがみ、名誉を重んじ、信用を保持し、公正かつ誠実にその職務を行い、社会秩序の維持に努めなければならない。 第十条 会員は、法令及び法律事務に精通するよう絶えず努めるとともに、博く深い教養を身につけ、高い品位を保たなければならない。（研修履修義務）第十一条 弁護士である会員は、継続して研修を履修しなければならない。２ 本会に入会した弁護士である会員で、入会前に通算一年以上の弁護士経験を有しない者は、前項に定める研修のほか、新規登録弁護士研修を履修しなければならない。３ 会長は、前二項の規定による研修の全部又は一部の履修を免除し、又は猶予することができる。４ 第一項及び第二項の研修の内容、実施方法等並びに前項の免除及び猶予に関し必要な事項は、会規で定める。５ 弁護士である会員と同一の法律事務所で執務する弁護士である会員及び弁護士である会員を雇用し、又は社員とする弁護士法人である会員は、第一項及び第二項の規定による研修を履修するよう指導し、協力しなければならない。（弁護士の職務）第十二条 会員は、裁判、検察その他公務員による法令運用の適正を期し、進んで法律制度の改善に努め、非違不正を発見したときは、その是正を図らなければならない。
